This leading retailer is keen to strengthen its trading division by appointing an experienced and talented Assistant Buyer for DIY
You will be a strong negotiator and have previous non-food buying experience gained for a large multiple retailer in any non-food category including Electrical, Home and Leisure, Clothing, Outdoor, Gardening, Hard Goods, DIY etc
Applicants should have the following skills and attributes:
• Highly developed negotiation skills
• Excellent supplier management skills
• Strong commercial acumen – accountability for achieving and excelling company targets
• Strategic ability – responsible for setting budgets, achieving margins, category profitability etc
• Highly self-motivated individual
• Experience of own brand product development.
• Non Food Buying experience within a multi-site retail environment
