This successful high street retailer is keen to strengthen its head office buying team by appointing a Cosmetics / Beauty Buyer.

You will be a proven negotiator and have a flair for product development and sourcing. It is essential you have previous Cosmetics / Beauty buying experience for a leading retailer, working closely with quality blue-chip branded suppliers.

The main areas of this role will include:

• Negotiating cost prices

• Developing new products

• Supplier relationship management

• Selecting a market leading product range

• Sourcing new suppliers

• Customer Insights

• Category strategy development

• Working closely with suppliers to develop new supply chain initiatives

• Management of budgets and sales targets

• Mentoring of Assistant Buyers and other junior team members

Applications are welcomed from candidates with Cosmetics or other relevant Health and Beauty buying/category management experience looking for a fresh challenge with an expanding retailer. Alternatively you may be working as a National Account Manager for a leading Cosmetics/Beauty brand looking to make the move into a head office buying position.
