This is a fantastic opportunity to advance within the commercial world. You will be working with one of the most successful retailers in the UK.
Reporting to the Head of Buying you will be given responsibility to manage a substantial part of the PC Accessories range, e.g. keyboards, webcams, cables etc.
Applicants should have the following experience:
• Extensive experience in negotiating with new and existing suppliers
• Buyer level experience gained within a multi-site retail environment, ideally within a relevant category
• Excellent supplier management / development skills
• Strong commercial acumen – accountability for achieving and excelling company targets
• Highly self-motivated individual
Applicants would ideally have the following:
• Strong education in a numeric qualification up to Masters/MBA level
• Strong record of implementing new strategies and innovations
• A highly analytical approach to their work
For the successful candidate this is an opportunity to fast track to a Category / Buying Manager level role.
