Leading retailer is keen to strengthen its trading division by appointing an experienced Health and Beauty / Toiletries Buyer.
You will be a strong negotiator and have previous buying experience gained for a large multiple retailer in any toiletries, healthcare or beauty category including skincare, cosmetics, bathing, haircare, etc. Candidates with a wholesale buying background will also be considered.
Applicants should have the following skills and attributes:
Highly developed negotiation skills
Non-Food buying experience within a multi-site retail environment
Excellent supplier management skills
Strong commercial acumen – accountability for achieving and excelling company targets
Strategic ability – responsible for setting budgets, achieving margins, category profitability etc
Highly self-motivated individual
