Our Client is a leading Foodservice company who is looking for a Technologist to perform technical expertise throughout the new product development process and pre and post product compliance.

The main responsibilities of the role will be to:

• Develop Own Brand product ranges which suits the company overall marketing mix.

• Interface with external manufacturing staff to ensure product quality

• Technical Expert – be an expert source of technical information, standards and legal requirements.

• Closely collaborating with the Technical Manager

• Extensive travelling around Europe, monitoring suppliers.

• Work to ensure compliance with all food manufacturing regulations

Applicants will need to have the following skills and attributes:

• Proficient in the use of computer technology

• Degree educated or equivalent in a relevant discipline e.g. Food Science

• An Experience Technologist within a manufacturing, retail, wholesale or foodservice industry

• Excellent written and verbal skills

• The ability to work independently with little supervision

• Self motivated
