£40,000 - £50,000 + CAR + SUBSTANTIAL BONUS
This successful retailer is keen to strengthen its buying division by appointing an experienced DIY Buyer. You will be a strong negotiator and have previous buying experience gained for a large multiple retailer ideally within any non-food product area.
The main areas of this role will include; negotiating cost prices, evaluating the supplier base, building strong working relationships with suppliers, selecting a market leading product range and driving category growth via setting promotional strategies.
The candidate must have extensive international sourcing experience within any non-food category such as DIY, homewares, toys, gifts, stationery etc
Applications are welcomed from candidates educated to degree level with a proven track record of cost reduction and sales growth in a retail head office environment.
