It is essential you are a strong negotiator and have extensive buying experience, with experience in catering equipment, food and beverages.
Key areas of the role will include:
• Negotiation of supplier trading terms to meet financial targets
• Identifying new product development opportunities
• Competitor Analysis
• Continually sourcing new suppliers
• Range management and category planning
• Working cross functionally with other key business areas e.g. supply chain and technical
Applicants should have the following skills and attributes:
• Highly developed negotiation skills
• Buying experience gained within a Retail, Wholesale or Foodservice environment
• Excellent supplier management skills
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Strong commercial acumen
• A highly self-motivated individual
