This leading retailer is keen to strengthen its trading division by appointing an experienced and talented garden/seasonal Buyer.
You will be a strong and analytical negotiator and have previous non-food buying experience gained for a large multiple retailer in any garden equipment category including Sheds, BBQs, Animal Care, Furniture or Fencing.
Applicants should have the following skills and attributes:
• Highly developed negotiation skills
• Non Food Buying experience within a multi-site retail environment
• Excellent supplier management skills
• Strong commercial acumen – accountability for achieving and excelling company targets
• Strategic ability – responsible for setting budgets, achieving margins, category profitability etc
• Highly self-motivated individual
