This successful retailer is keen to strengthen its buying division by appointing an experienced retail buyer. You will be a strong negotiator and have previous buying experience gained for a large multiple retailer ideally within home and seasonal products i.e. Garden, Horticulture, Leisure, Power Tools etc
The main areas of this role will include; negotiating cost prices, evaluating the supplier base, building strong working relationships with suppliers, selecting a market leading product range and driving category growth via setting promotional strategies.
Applications are welcomed from candidates educated to degree level with a proven track record of cost reduction and sales growth in a retail head office environment.
