This successful business is looking to strengthen its head office commercial team by appointing an experienced Buyer within their Electrical category.

You will be a proven leader and strong negotiator with previous buying / category management experience ideally gained for a top 20 retailer in an Electrical product category e.g Brown Goods, White Goods, Digital Media, PC's, Laptop's, SDA's, Digital Cameras, Electrical Accessories etc You will have extensive experience dealing with large multi-national branded suppliers / manufacturers.

Applicants should have the following skills and attributes:

• Highly developed negotiation skills

• Excellent supplier management skills with exposure to complex relationships with branded suppliers/manufacturers

• Strong commercial acumen – accountability for achieving and excelling company targets

• Strategic ability – responsible for setting budgets, achieving margins, category profitability etc

• Highly self-motivated individual
