An exciting opportunity has arisen with an award winning online retailer for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Demand Manager. This varied role involves taking responsibility for a range of products and maintaining excellent levels of availability for customers via forecasting and trend analysis. On a daily basis, your responsibilities will include:
• Inbound volume planning
• Demand forecasting using analytical expertise and in-house systems
• Managing complex operational issues
• Working cross-functionally with other areas of the business
• Identifying trends, predicting their likely impact and reacting accordingly
• Conducting regular seasonal and promotional analysis
• Consistently working on the improvement of overall customer experience, whilst simultaneously reducing operational costs
• Maintaining and developing supplier relationships
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre and possess some valuable commercial experience relating to Demand Planning/Supply Chain Analysis. An analytical and numerate nature is essential and advanced knowledge of Excel and other computer software is very desirable.
