Our client is searching for a Product Development Manager who will be given the autonomy to develop a market leading product offer across their Fresh Foods category.
The retailer is looking for a talented Product Development Manager who can deliver the best quality of fresh foods within the marketplace. The candidate must be passionate about food, and must also be able to work well within a team environment. Previous experience within the fresh food or grocery environment is essential.
This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to use both their commercial and creative skills. Key elements of the role / skills set required will include:
• Leading the creative development across fresh foods from the original concept through to product launch
• Delivering a distinct and original range within the category that will delight your customer
Candidates should have excellent commercial and market awareness in order to understand external market forces and be able to interpret trends appropriately and ensure the business has the most relevant offer for its customers.
Inter personal skill are key and candidates must be able to successfully build relationships at all levels and across a wide number of internal and external partners to influence the strategy for development of the customer offer against competitors.
