A market leading online retailer is currently on the look out for an exceptionally talented Supply Chain Analyst to join their Head Office team. You will be responsible for the ongoing development of operational relations within the business, where commitment to driving supply chain operational efficiency through the development of new initiatives is an absolute necessity.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Acting as an important member of the UK Supply Chain team
• Managing complex operational issues on a daily basis
• Working cross-functionally with other areas of the Supply Chain, including Sales and Operation Planning and Inventory Placement
• Identifying inventory planning, procurement system or buying process defects and delivering on/exceeding resolution targets
• Consistently working on the improvement of overall customer experience, whilst simultaneously reducing operational costs
• Supporting new business initiatives through superior communication with internal teams
• Conducting vendor meetings as required in order to enhance operational effectiveness
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre and possess relevant experience derived from a commercial background. An analytical nature and advanced knowledge of Excel are essential and further knowledge of SQL is highly desirable.
