- Description
- We are currently working with a major GM retailer who are looking to continue their digital transformation, focusing their effort on building a stronger and more customer focused eCommerce channel.
The business are now looking to hire a proven web trading professional to help grow the commercial performance of a number of key categories online.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage performance of online channel, working with Buying team to increase sales, margin & profit
- Develop new strategies to increase conversion and average customer spend
- Plan and execute dedicated online merchandising strategies, planning for key shopping events such as Black Friday
- Use a variety of internal data sources to develop stronger insights on customer behaviour, performance metrics and evaluate areas for improvements
Key experience required:
- Minimum 4 years experience operating in a similar role within B2C sector.
- Proven background owning and improving a £mm P&L
- Track record implanting change to a growing area of business, strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical skills, ideally with a background in data management or similar
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working for a major multi-channel brand in food retail, GM or fashion
- Working knowledge of analytics suites & applications such as Adobe, Tableau, VBA
