Description
Following a large strategic review, our client is looking to invest heavily into their digital and ecommerce operations, allowing their customers to shop how and when they want.
 
Primarily focusing on the PC channel, our client is looking hire and Online Channel Manager, tasked with converting leads from Web Chat and Email queries and previously abandoned baskets. This is a broad role, and requires the post holder to help set an overall strategy for new unit.
 
Key Responsibilities include:
 
  • Manage commercial performance of this channel, driving sales and heavily influencing P&L
  • Collaborating with Trading, Marketing and Promotional teams to co-ordinate activities across the business
  • Devise and implement strategic initiatives to secure long term success of the unit, including KPI development and building a long term roadmap
  • Build reporting & analytics tools to monitor performance, liaising with senior businesses leaders as needed.
 
Experience Required:
 
  • Previous customer sales and marketing experience is essential. Functional knowledge of contact centre and web chat processes is a must
  • Proven experience developing e-Commerce customer strategy
  • Understanding of the Consumer Electronics market is a big plus
  • Experience engaging and managing senior stakeholder relationships, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple operations
