- This forward thinking retailer is keen to strengthen its buying division by appointing an experienced Head of Buying within their Indoor Living team. You will be a strong negotiator and have previous buying experience gained within homewares, home accessories or similar products. Experience managing and developing successful teams is essential.
The core elements of this role will include:- Using your experience to supervise and train direct reports
- Negotiating cost prices
- Setting and delivering category strategy
- Evaluating the supplier base
- Building strong working relationships with suppliers
- Selecting a market leading product range
- Driving category growth via setting promotional strategies
- Applications are welcomed from candidates with Indoor Living / Homewares experience gained within a leading multi-site retail environment. Candidates with buying experience gained within similar retail categories will also be considered.
