- Our client is a leading and well respected high street retailer looking to evolve their brand into a digital first business.
In order to achieve this goal, they are looking to hire a Senior Frontend Developer with a goal to deliver an outstanding customer experience through heavy personalisation across both desktop, mobile and apps.
In a fast paced and ambiguous environment, the key responsibilities of the role include:
· Managing front end development projects including financial budgets and delivery timelines
· Management of a small team and numerous third party contractors as required
· Lead UAT projects to ensure smooth launches, troubleshooting issues across all platforms
· Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams within digital, marketing and trading
· Drive optimisation initiatives to continuously improve customer experience
Skills, experience and proficiencies required:
· Exceptional knowledge of HTML, JQuery and Javascript, ideally an understanding of Hybris platform
· Strong understanding of latest trends in mobile design, alongside a background in SEO and multivariate testing
· Working knowledge of C and C++
· Background in delivering projects within a commercial environment for a national / multinational brand operating in the retail, consumer, travel or similar customer focused market
· Excellent leadership and management skills

Please note, this role is predominately based in London, however will require travel to other UK sites 1-2 days a week.
