- This successful convenience retailer is keen to strengthen its head office buying team by appointing a Buyer to manage a key food category e.g. Impulse, Grocery or Chilled.
You will be a strong negotiator and have a flair for range development and supplier management. It is essential you have related buying experience gained for a large multiple retailer.
The main areas of this role will include:
- Negotiating cost prices
- Developing new products / suppliers
- Building strong working relationships with suppliers
- Selecting a market leading product range
Applications are welcomed from candidates educated to degree level with buying experience gained within the convenience sector. Alternatively you may be working in a national account position covering convenience retail for a FMCG supplier and be looking for a fresh challenge.
