- We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Buyer/Buying Manager to join one of the UK's leading retailers.
The ideal candidate will be commercially aware, analytical in their approach and able to deliver results against the budgeted targets.
Key areas of the role will include:- Negotiation of supplier trading terms to meet financial targets
- Competitor analysis
- Continually sourcing new suppliers
- Working cross functionally with other key business areas e.g. supply chain and technical
You will be adept at securing favourable trading terms from suppliers. It is likely you will be currently buying a high profile category area within your business and will be comfortable working in a fast paced head office environment.
