- An amazing opportunity has arisen to join a leading online retailer.
With full P&L ownership for your category areas you will drive sales growth via expanding product selection, building strong relationships with suppliers and driving improvements to the online business platform.
This role will have a high degree of autonomy and the successful individual will be able to influence across a broad range of projects across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with key third party suppliers to improve sales, grow selection, and ensure contract terms are met.
- Working with the category teams to identify gaps in the current selection, liaising with the sales team to focus merchant recruitment, analyzing product/category sales distribution and market data.
- Working with the category teams, merchants, technical teams, and international third party teams to drive improvements to the platform.
- Manage the day-to-day relationships with key accounts and develop strategies to maximize these relationships through data analysis, performance tracking, and other activities
- Manage all aspects of the client relationship, represent the company with partners, and work with all relevant cross-functional areas to guarantee effective communication, smart implementation, and execution
- Interact internally and externally with senior management to troubleshoot issues and identify possible solutions
- Identify new business opportunities and develop up-selling strategies with partners
- Drive strong analytics to quantify partners' needs and the opportunity for new features/enhancements, new product development, and investments
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and influencing skills, and be comfortable liaising with colleagues up to board level. Your commercial experience will have been gained working in product management, buying, consulting, finance, or e-commerce.
