Buyer – Frozen

Following a recent expansion built on multiple years of sales growth, our client is looking to hire a strong retail food buyer to manage the whole frozen range offering. As a smaller but growing brand in the retail sector, our client are looking to find team orientated individuals interested in growing a brand and enjoying the challenges this brings.
 

Working closely with leading FMCGs and wholesale partners the Buyer will be responsible for:

·Product selection and proposition management
·Contract negotiation including cost price, rebates, overriders, product placement, marketing support and payment terms
·Creation and development on an annual promotional plan
·Working with stores team to create planograms to ensure consistency and compliance
 

What we are looking for:

·Proven experience managing a food or FMCG based P&L within a major retailer
·Proven success in delivering YoY growth and delivering against profitability targets
·Strong numerical and analytical skills
·A strong team player, wanting to work closely with colleagues both office and store based to deliver an excellent shopper experience.
 

Please note, Frozen experience is not essential as long as you have a passion for the area, and have managed your own range within another grocer or C-store type format.
