Our client is a global FMCG specialising in diary based products in the form of yoghurts, healthy drinks and desserts. AS the result of an international move, the brand is now looking to recruit a dedicated and ambitious Demand Planner to join their team in West London. Tesco are their biggest customer, and the right person will need to love data, and be happy to work in a fast-paced innovation led category with lots of scope for change and development.
The role:- Managing a rolling 24 month forecast factoring in all key seasonal trends and innovation projects
- Manage relationships both internally and externally to improve forecast accuracy and on shelf available, liaising with Account Managers / Controllers / Supply Planners and customer Merchandise Planners.
- Work with customer contacts to identify areas for improvement in forecasts to ensure best possible service
- Continuously audit sales data to capitalise on shifting consumer trends
The person:- Proven experience within an FMCG category from either a leading supplier or Top 4 calibre retailer. Food & Drink experience preferred but not essential.
- Degree educated to 2:1 standard, preferably in a mathematical or scientific discipline.
- Highly numerical and comfortable in data analysis
- Experienced in SAP or similar, strong Excel a must
- Confident individuals capable of managing a number of key stakeholders
- A team player more than willing to help coach and mentor junior team members and share innovations for the good of the business
