Head of Retail Online Trading

Our client is a market leading retailer and they are currently looking for an experienced e-commerce professional to join their head office team. It is essential you are a strong negotiator and have extensive man-management / leadership experience and a strong commercial outlook.

Key Accountabilities:

• To exceed budgeted margin, sales and profit targets across eCommerce channels
• Team Leadership, coaching and development at all levels
• Creation and delivery of digital strategy
• To deliver products and develop the range to meet the needs of the customer
• Promotional planning
• Customer Insights
• Pricing
• Building partnerships and cross functional working

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• E commerce expert
• Senior level online trading / buying experience gained for a leading retailer/eCommerce business
• Ability to coach and manage team members
• Articulate, persuasive negotiator with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Superb analytical skills
• Enjoys working in a fast paced commercial trading environment
• Able to handle a pressurised working environment
• Commercially aware, with strong intellectual, analytical and numerical skills

To be successful in this role you will enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic retail environment and be comfortable liaising with board level colleagues.
