Our client is a market leading leisure brand, investing in the growth of their buying function. They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Buyer into their Foodservice team.
Key responsibilities:- Negotiation of supplier trading terms to meet financial targets
- Working cross functionally with other key business areas e.g. supply chain and technical
- Managing and developing a small team of Buyers, Assistant Buyers and Supply Chain Professionals
- Identifying new product development opportunities
- Setting the commercial sourcing strategy across all food, beverages, non-food and in-directs
- Range management and category planning
Key skills and attributes:- Proven leadership skills
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in similar procurement management positions
- Highly developed negotiation skills
- Highly motivated individual
- IT literate
- Excellent planning and presentation skills
