Fantastic opportunity to join this leading retailer who are looking for a proficient category analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing and analysing commercial data and providing recommendations
- Manipulating and understanding large amounts of data to be able to accurately diagnose issues and then transferring them into recommendations
- Development of strategic conclusions and recommendations for the category teams
- Providing actionable insight for the commercial teams
- Delivering presentations to senior stakeholders
- Management is internal and external stakeholder relationships
Required Experience/Skills:
- Strong academic background, ideally a numerate/technical degree
- Experience as an Analyst working for a Retailer, FMCG manufacturer or Agency
- Knowledge of the grocery sector
- Self-managing, capable of planning and prioritizing a broad and extensive range of activities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring data is summarized and communicated in a logical and informative manner, appropriate to the given audience.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office including Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- It is expected that the successful candidate will be able to draw out the commercial implications of their work and provide concise summaries to senior management as well as leading important strategic and analytical projects.
