- This forward thinking retailer is keen to strengthen its buying division by appointing an experienced Buying Manager within their Homewares team.
You will be a strong negotiator and have previous managerial buying experience gained within Home Décor e.g. Soft Furnishings, Home Accessories etc.
The core elements of this role will include:
- Negotiating cost prices and sourcing new suppliers
- Setting and delivering category strategy
- Evaluating the supplier base
- Building strong working relationships with suppliers
- Selecting a market leading product range
- Driving category growth via setting promotional strategies
- Managing a team of Assistant Buyers / Buyers
